Now you know it is not wise to force the engine start by using starter. Then what we need to do? Here are some simple tips but surely it is safe for you and your car.
1. Check the air filter. If you find it is wet, do not use it. Put it out is the best decision.
2. Check oil dipstick. See whether the engine oil turned into brown colour. If yes, it means your engine oil contaminated by water. The best decision is do not start the car anymore to prevent engine harm. Find help to get your car to workshop or call specialist to the spot to help you.
3. Free all the sparkplugs. Looks at the cylinder to find out whether it has water inside. Start the car using starter several times until no more water comes out from the sparkplugs tube.
4. Wipe the combustion system with rag or tissue. Such as sparkplugs cable or the sparkplugs.
When you finish all the steps, put back the sparkplugs and other components to its place. then try to start the engine.
If you are in step 2 case, then it is not recommended to follow other tips anymore, it is better to keep your car handle by the expert.
Easy right? Now you know what to do when it comes to you (hopefully no!).
