Light is very important for us. How we can see objects depend on how much light intensity available. Headlight very important for driving at night, that's why we need to take care of headlamp performance to its peak condition. Get tired faster when we drive at night is one of the dim headlight problem. It cause limited vision, people need to be more concentrate on the road. for sure, the side effect is people will get exhausted faster. We need to put some effort to optimize the work of headlamp. When you notice dim headlight, that is the time to take action.
Usually the main problem is grounding system especially for the car that have more than 5 years life-time. People tend to buy relay aftermarket to solve this problem. The theory is relay shorter electricity way to the headlight, it gets electricity directly from the accu without having direct connection to interior switch. Using this way, we can omit electrical resistance of old cable because this is the main problem of dim headlight.
Dirty glass headlamp become dim headlight 2nd reason. Of course, wash the glass is the way to solve it. Make sure the glass dry enough so it will not appear "fog" problem in the future use. If your glass headlamp from plastic-glass material, it may be damage cause by dirt or overheat if you ever change the lamp to higher voltage.
And the last possibility is reflector damage. If this happens, buy new headlamp is recommended. You can re-chrome the reflector but usually what you pay for the re-chrome is about the same with the cost to buy new headlamp.
