Simple Tips for Changing Car Headlight

Have you ever questioning yourself how and what when you notice your car headlight bulb broke down. People tend to give all that stuff for specialist to solve. Notice that specialist sometimes ask about what bulb input will you prefer, suddenly you confuse and do not have any idea about it. Sometimes when you are taking a journey to rural area and have this broken down bulb problem you have no other choice but to buy the bulb yourself and choose whether to let them change it for you which you are not sure about their skills or you changed it by yourself. If you choose second option, here are some knowledge about changing your car headlight bulb.
1. There are a lot of people out there don't know how to treat headlight bulb. It is recommended not to touch the bulb body. Look at the picture. It is because it can influence the performance and life-time of the bulb. People usually touch the metal part of the bulb. So by knowing this, you can warn people not to touch the body if that people is going to help you install the bulb. However, if you accidentally touch the body, you can do these several tips:
- wipe the bulb body using tissue slowly
- for maximal result, use alcohol to clean the accidentally touch body.
- when you do it, make sure you not accidentally touch the body again.
2. Change the bulb in pair. Don't change one if one is broken down, change 2 of them together although the other one is not broken down. this is to prevent different state of light the bulb produce due to different brand of bulb you purchase or weaken down bulb.
3. Choose the bulb that has UV block, because they filters out the ultraviolet rays that are potentially damaging to modern plastic headlight lenses.
4. high input lamp (up to 100/90 Watt) is recommended using relay.
5. re-setting the height level of the light that the headlamp produce especially when you change the bulb become HID xenon. It is because different bulb has different filament distance which will effect the height level of the light.
